Customer Review: Worked well for home theater surround speakers

This product worked well for neatly running speaker wire around my living room for my TV surround sound speakers. I was able to comfortably fit 4 sets of thin speaker wires (20 or 24 gauge I believe) into the side of the channel...and then peel off the adhesive back on the channel, and then stick it onto the wall which is textured drywall. It sticks to the wall quite well...very sturdy. I probably could have fit a couple more sets of speaker wires into the channel if needed.
The white color matches my molding pretty well so I don't think I'll paint them. It was easy to cut the pieces of cord channel with a hack saw, and the connectors worked well for covering the ends of the pieces I cut especially where the wiring takes a turn or goes around a corner on the wall. I bought (from Home Depot# a few 5-foot lengths of the channel along with a couple of the kits which come with some connectors and three 4-foot pieces.
I'm not sure if the gap on the side of the channels is intended to be closed by pushing down on them #as I've read some of these products do#. They look fine without attempting this since you can't really see the gap, and the wires stay inside the channel fine with the gap open #but if you did want to pull this size wire out through the gap, you can do it with a little manuevering).
All in all a good product that does what it's supposed to do, and was less expensive than some of the other solutions available for concealing wires. Looks good installed. I recommend it.
