Tools and Hardware Reviews of Wiremold C210 White Cordmate II KitCustomer Review: Held all cables plus one kit had the 11 feet I needed Summary: 5 Stars
I needed to hide the cables to connect DVD player and indoor antenna to a new HDTV. With 3 four-foot sections one C210 kit provided the 11 linear feet I needed. I used the inside elbow and a flat elbow to the antenna and a flat elbow for HDTV power cord and cable to DVD. The channels were easy to cut to length. The adhesive held the stress of running coaxial cable in channel to an inside elbow at window frame to 2 inch channel to flat elbow to channel down inside of window frame to antenna. The remaining four-foot section was perfect length to conceal the surge protector power cable to wall outlet.
Beware that the new CMK50 model has less length (four 30 inch sections for 10 linear feet) and is not eligible for Super Saver Shipping.
Customer Review: Pricey - but serves its purpose well Summary: 4 Stars
The product works: I have two pairs of 12 AWG speaker cables and a Cat 5 Ethernet cable running around five corners. It hides them well and the housing blends in nicely
Two things you might want to look out for:
(1) The adhesive -- VERY sticky. A good thing. But if you set it in the wrong place, don't expect to be able to reset it without providing your own glue (and tidying up the mess it leaves behind the first time)
(2) The "joints" work very well IF you don't set an edge of the housing flush against the skirting board/wall/ceiling: they need a little extra wiggle room and if you apply the housing too close, they won't click into place.
Customer Review: Can't be more pleased.... Summary: 5 Stars
I needed to route the TV cable about 20 feet from the source around two walls and a small nook. I ordered 2 of these kits, and could not be happier with the results. I placed the track on the baseboard just above the quarter molding, and it blends right in. You just need to make sure there is enough clearance below the track so that the coupling and corner attachments can snap on. The track sticks very well and I don't think it will ever release without a struggle. When my TV is mounted, I'm going to run a short piece down the wall for the power and cable box cords, and paint it to match. The track is easy to cut with a hack saw.
Customer Review: Hide your cables easily! Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for some conduit where I could run a coaxial cable and an HDMI cable over two door frames between my computer and my flatscreen TV. This worked like a charm. Both cables fit well in the channel. The conduit stuck very well to the trim around the door frames even though the trim was not perfectly flat.
I would strongly suggest that you open the conduit before you stick it up. It's a lot easier to open it before than after. Other than that, installation was a snap and it sticks very solidly. A very easy solution to something I thought was going to be much more difficult. This is a great product.
Customer Review: NO MORE HANGING CABLES! Summary: 5 Stars
These cable covers are very easy to install. The sticky tape on the back holds securely for me. The elbows fit perfectly and securely right over the cable cover. In one section of my installation, I have a TV power cord and HDMI cable running through it. There was plenty of space for these 2 cables. In another section of the installation, I have an HDMI cable, lamp power cable, and standard coaxial cable running through it. These 3 cables fit very snugly, but it was still pretty easy to get all 3 into the Wiremold C210. I highly recommend this product if you only have at most 2 or 3 cables to hide.
