I was a bit skeptical about this product. When I received the WS2000 for Xmas, I decided to watch the video on the website before I tried to use the tool. That was a good decision. I have to admit that I am sharpening challenged.Sometimes I get it right and other times I mess up big time. This machine definately takes the guesswork out of sharpening tools. I use it mainly for my lathe tools, but it does a fantastic job on chisels also.Customer Review: Awesome tool sharpener!

I am very satisfied with the WS2000. It will sharpen every thing as advertised. I recommend using old tools such as cold chisels and old putty knives till you get the hang of it. I have sharpened everything in my home with great satisfaction.

This tool DOES sharpen chisels and lathe tools. I have not been able to achieve the level "scary sharp" I expected. A secondary hone is still required.
