Customer Review: Works to replace Pella mortise locks

Four stars as I have no long term reliability data yet.
This was a pretty drop in replacement for the mortise lock that shot craps in a full lite Pella door. I did have to drill one screw hole in the edge of the door to mount it, but otherwise it went right in. The strike plate is different than the original, but the latch and lock seem to hold just fine against the Z bar (really, a lock on a full lite door will only keep honest people honest).
Description of Wright Products VMT115PB Accents Serenade Mortise Lockset, Polished Brass
Lever style Serenade replacement mortise storm door latch. Satin nickel finish over finely crafted solid brass. Replaces existing mortise latches in most storm doors. Will not work on Emco or Andersen doors. Fits doors 1" to 1 1 2" thick. Includes built iA direct replacement hardware for most mortise style storm door locks, this Accents Serenade lockset is crafted solid brass inside and out. An elegant lever continually curves for a striking affect that matches both traditional and contemporary décor and architecture. The lever runs flush into the shank, which runs flush into a low profile, narrow escutcheon plate. The set includes built in keyed deadbolt lock mechanism for optimal security. Will not fit Emco or Anderson storm doors. --Brian D. Olson
