I been using X-acto knives for decades. They haven't changed and the quality is still top-notch. Some of the blades are not useful for me but I found the #17 and #18 blades (chisels) to be blades I wouldn't have considered but I use them all of the time.
I removed the plastic insert on the top and taped the included magnetic strip to the wood box. This configuration leaves me room to store over 200 blades and all of the knives in the box. I work with stingray skins that are hard as rocks and these knives and blades make it easier to do precision cuts.

No matter what your hobby, this is one heck of a box of tools. Great buy at a great price. This item is impossible to find in stores. It was just as it was discribed in the ad. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for this type of tool.
Customer Review: Great general use set of Xacto Knives in a Wooden Box

This is a great set of Xacto blades with 3 different Handles. The Wooden box is a benefit too, the last thing you want to do after buying loose Xacto blades is have them floating around in a drawer.
The Xacto brand is quality (not like some of the off market imitators). You may also want to purchase extra blades of a specific type for large projects.

The knifes cut great and you have plenty to choice from. I can't say that I was disappointed with the box because it does what its supposed to which is hold blades/knives and I don't plan on having it displayed in a museum.
Again, wondering selection of blades and a good looking box to hold them in which is why I went with this set.

I purchased this set becuase I work a lot with plastic hobby models, and lately I been increasing the use of plastic cutted to specific forms, I used another knife and it snaped in two with the exacto the blade quality is top not so I dont requiere that much force. exellent purchase.
