I initially ordered a pair of medium size gloves. Amazon said that it would be able to ship within 2 to 4 weeks. At nearly 5 weeks later I canceled the order after having no communication on my order. Who knows, maybe I would still be waiting today. That's really unacceptable and really the first negative experience I've had on an item not directly in stock. So if you want to buy these gloves only buy whatever size is in stock.
However, I then ordered a pair of the large size and got it less than a week later. It fits just a slight bit bigger than what I wanted but I think it will work fine for me. Now I've bought general purpose work gloves almost every year from Lowe's. Normally the basic ones with the leather fingers. The reason I buy them every year is because they seem to wear out every year, usually a hole develops in one of the fingers. These gloves I won't be replacing any time soon. Their made of fantastic quality, sturdy yet comfortable, and well balanced between general yard work, cutting and stacking wood, to even working around the garage. If anything I will probably pick up a waterproof pair for work during winter. I'm very pleased with the quality and it's well worth the investment. Protect your hands.
UPDATE: I've been using these gloves for a couple of months. They fit a little better now that I've had them a while. Overall they are fantastic! Keep my hands well protected from sharp barbs, prickly branches, and other yard waste. They aren't totally invincible, I did get one poke through the kevlar topside from a particularly nasty thorn, but otherwise they've prevented the normal cuts, scrapes, and abrasions I get every spring. Feels like a set of armor for your hands. I've also used them for pulling up carpet. Great sense of touch and the form fit is tremendous. Best set of general utility gloves I've ever bought. My go to gloves for any yard work or remodeling I need to do. I plan on buying another set if these should ever wear out, which I doubt will happen anytime soon.
