The Power Strip Liberator is perfect for freeing up those over-used power strip and surge-protector sockets --- the "piggy-back" feature adds capacity while allowing plenty of room for those bulky transformers that seem to be used with just about everything --- including printers, cable modems, routers, cordless telephones, and even some computer stereo systems.
Be advised that these units are for LIGHT DUTY ONLY, and must not be used to connect motorized appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, room air conditioners, or any equipment that will draw more than 7.5 amps.
I was able to use 3 Power Strip Liberators to hook up 3 of those bulky transformers while leaving several sockets of the surge protector available for my computer and it's other peripherals.
A low-cost solution to the problem of clutter and congestion, I highly recommend this product.
The low price and speedy delivery are bonus features that make this product an excellent value !!

This extension cord came well packaged and in perfect condition. Is essential to have this short extension cord when measuring electrical values (Amp, Watts, VoltAmperes) with instruments ( such as KillAWatt instrument) that are intended to be used plugged into electrical sockets on the wall or on Surge Protectors.Customer Review: Power Strip Liberator Is Not A Toy!

For some reason, the review process believed that the power strip liberator was a toy, and asked such things as 'how fun is this toy?'. Well, sadly, not very fun for a toy, but a perfectly good short extension cord. These are good quality power strip extenders, offering a a power outlet on a short cord, as well as one on the back side of the plug itself. It works well, and I recommend it for the purpose.
