I've been looking for a tester than I could feel confident in the results for awhile, I went though several cheap ones that didn't seem reliable. They would say a battery was 90% capacity and when tried in even the low load applications (tv remotes, wireless mice) They would die instantly. I had an old battery tester that broke so I bought this as a replacement. It is much fancier than the one I had and seems extremely accurate. I was glad that although it runs on batteries it automatically turns itself off after you are done using it--this is good as my children wouldn't remember to turn it off.Customer Review: As long as it will last.

Received quickly and in good order. As long as it continues to work like it does now I will be happy with it. I was concerned at some feedback indicating this unit failed after less than a year of use. It does what I was expecting but I beleive it should give a minimum of 5 years service life or longer.Customer Review: Works as Advertised

While more expensive than many battery tester, this unit appears to be more accurate. It is easy to use, well made, and tests a wide variety of batteries. I especially like the separate terminal for NiMH rechargeable batteries as I use these frequently and don't always remember when I last charged them.Customer Review: This product is fantastic!

I bought this battery tester about a month ago and have used it countless times. When a toy doesn't work, I'm not sure if it is the toy or if the battery is dead. The battery tester gave me an accurate reading of how much life was left in the battery. I couldn't recommend this product more!
