It seems to work well but so did my gerber knife. I have opened serveral packages with it without too much trouble. Instead of looking for a knife or scissors I look for the ZPOPEN. The bright orange color helps out there.Customer Review: works great

I got this for Christmas, paid $14.99 I believe, so this is a good price. I actually used it Christmas to open those tricky heat-sealed packages and it works much better than scissors. I would recommend it.Customer Review: Good product!!

The blades are all super sharp. Have had no need for the driver.
After one week, the "latch" that keeps the tool closed just snapped off and broke.
Better options aout there.
