Tools and Hardware Reviews of Ziotek ZT1212542 Power Strip Liberator 14-Inch Extension, 5-PackCustomer Review: Brilliant cables - Why didn't I buy these sooner? Summary: 5 Stars
For less than two Washingtons per cable, these cables were well worth it!
The cables I received were sold by "Abacus24-7" even though this says Sold by Amazon.com. Nevertheless, they shipped very fast and arrived in perfect shape still in the bags.
Extremely useful around the house - I'm using one for my Kill-A-Watt and the rest for power bricks to make space on the power strip.
You won't regret buying these! And this particular one had the best price on the web I could find, but yet the cables were 100% high quality with gold UL Listed stickers.
Customer Review: hazardous junk Summary: 1 Stars
Power Strip Liberator Black Extension Adapter Cord 1 feet - (5[[ASIN:B0015GQ4C6 Power Strip Liberator Black Extension Adapter Cord 1 feet - (5 packs) packs)]] This product does NOT fit the description. It uses 18awg (American wire gauge) wire which is not rated at 10 amperes. I gave it one star because its only good for very light loads and could easily cause a fire or fail under load above 5 to 7 amperes! I'm very disappointed in this cheap, dangerous junk.
Customer Review: Free Up Space Around Electric Outlet Summary: 5 Stars
Let's say you have several devices that have little power transformers that, when you plug them in to an electrical outlet, they block adjacent outlets. Use this little one foot extension cord. It takes up only one space in your power outlet instead of blocking an adjacent power outlet. Simple. Does not clutter as would a longer extension cord and it has a grounding terminal in case your device (transformer in my case) has a three prong plug. Order more than you need right now. You will need more later!
Customer Review: Perfect for it's intended use Summary: 5 Stars
I've been struggling with wall warts for years. Even the power strips that are designed for wall warts invariably come up short due to plug orientation, since some warts are horizontal and others are vertical. Sure, I could have found the perfect power strip, but now I can just use the ones I have. It also has the added benefit of making power strips less prone to accidental wall wart unplugging, as they sit next to the power strip on a flexible cord instead of plugged directly into the strip.
Customer Review: Kill-a-Watt power rated 15 amps but this cord is about 7 amps Summary: 2 Stars
Kill-a-Watt Caution. I checked with the shipper and this cord has a lower power rating than the Kill-a-Watt you may be using it with. To avoid over-heating this cord be sure not to use with refrigerator, washer, dryer, air conditioner or other large power using appliance. Kill-a-Watt is rated 15 amps (1875 VA) and this cord is smaller, about 1/2 the amount of the Kill-a-Watt. We want you to be safe and avoid the classic "extension cord fire" from over-heating a cord.
