I bought this product so I would know when one of my four children decides to venture outside. It is loud enough to alert me to them opening the door. However, the battery does not last long and it costs more than the product to replace the batteries. Used this on my grandson's bedroom door when he visited me in the summer, because he had "gone wandering" a few times, out of his own house. Worked so well, I gave a set to my daughter and then to his other grandparents. Only down side is that tape does not stay sticky forever, so one part or the other will fall off at some point.Customer Review: How wo change the batteries

How to change the batteries in this product.Out of 4, 1 did not work for me.I need to change the batteries.I slid open the cover in the front.The batteries are really tight.How to take them apart.It would be helpful if any of you could answer my question.thanks in advance

I bought these for my mom's house after someone tried to break in recently. They are a nice size and the sound level is adequate. I like that they are affordable and you don't have to drill holes into your door or trim work. I am going to buy some for my windows! Highly recommended product!Customer Review: Don't last long

I loved these, but wanted to keep them in the ON position all the time.
At some point the battery wears out and you don't know that until you try to set it off and you get no sound.
When they are working they are fabulous, and I had no trouble with them sticking at all.
