Customer Review: Not what I expected but it works great!

These discs are a thin material and have dried glue on the back. They come with instructions on how to attach them to the plate. Hopefully I followed them well! To get the glue working I got the disc wet and work up the glue with my fingers. I then wait a couple of minutes before attaching the disc to my plate. The next day I hung the plate up! It works. My plates have been on the wall for over a week now - no problems.
I didn't expect the disc to involve actual work to put it on, but less than 10 minutes of your time for a plate to hang on your wall forever seems like a good time investment. I also found it a little difficult to get the hook level.
But I'm impressed. I would order these again.

These plate hangers are wonderful. They work by solidly adhering to the surface of the back of the plate and are easily removed with warm water. The disc plate hanger also has excellent adhesion to unvarnished wood and hardboard. It is ideal for hanging plates, tiles, metal/tole trays, ceramic art, studio pottery plates, fused glass plates, small pictures and 3D objects of many sizes. They have been used successfully for decades in England and have finally made their way here to the US. The disc can be trimmed to fit the shape of your unique piece. The discs should not be used when you want to preserve a paper label on the plate.Picture Hangers Tools
