Tools and Hardware Reviews of iGaging Digital Magnetic Level + Protractor + Bevel Gauge (3 in 1 tool)Customer Review: Cool and useful gadget Summary: 5 Stars
For a person who appreciates precision, I appreciate this tool. Sure, you can use your standard bubble level in most cases. Or to set a saw blade angle, you can use a protractor or other mechanical gauge. But this little cube tells you in numbers what your eyes cannot tell you with a bubble or an angle gauge. Put it on your table saw top and press the "Zero" button and it zeros out to a relative level. Then stick it to the saw blade and set a precise angle digitally. You're done; no guessing or fussing with mechanical instruments. Or set it on top of a standard level and then measure absolute level to the .05 degree. Here's a cool use for it - stick it to your stove top and then adjust the feet to level out the oven/stove. Oil in your pans will cover the whole bottom and eggs won't slide to one side of it any more, and cakes in the oven will rise evenly. Stick it to your fridge and level it so the doors will close correctly. Bring it on vacation and precisely level your camper when setting up.
If you like "close enough", then this probably isn't for you. If you like or need precision, then this is a valuable and inexpensive tool for you.
