After only 9 months with my last battery, I had to order another because the one I had no longer charged. I live in CA so had to wait for it to be shipped from Kentucky. The new one came with no directions, but to be safe I put it on the charger for 2 full days before trying it. It hadn't charged. I can't know if it was the charger or the battery at fault. To find out would've taken at least another month of cross country shipping. I had to return it for a refund. That means my iRobot is now useless. Yet, when it works, it suits my purposes better than anything else out there. So, I'll bite the bullet and get another; perhaps newer models will be more reliable.Customer Review: That's original battery but I received it 4 days after estimated date

I purchased this product on January.11.09 from Amazon.com and chose super saving shipment method with estimated delivery time on January.17.09. It is the battery that I needed for my iRobot which hasn't worked fine recently. I mean it stopped working after 5 to 10 minutes due to discharged battery. I bought my iRobot 3 years ago. This product is the same as the original battery and seems it works properly . The only thing that I need to complain here is its delivery which was late. I supposed to receive that on January.17.09 but I received it on January.20.09 by one of our neighbors who had seen the box left in the street! It was shipped from Amazon.com via UPS.Customer Review: Very Highly NOT recommended

I purchased this battery in mid January of 2011. I charged it and used it twice in my Roomba. Upon trying to use it a third time I found the battery was dead. I thought it might have become seperated from the docking station and so I adjusted it and left it to recharge. Again and again i tried to recharge this battery even moving to a different outlet and onto different flooring. Nothing worked and it will not keep a charge anymore. My return window apparently ended 30 days after receiving the item. Since I only run my Roomba about once every two weeks, the battery apparently was aware of the return window ending :(. I now have a very expensive paper weight.Customer Review: Works Well

While I haven't noticed the reduced charging times I have read about regarding this battery, I have definitely noticed extended run times. I am able to get nearly 3 "Large Room" vacuum cycles from my original Roomba...far better than the factory battery. When you order, make sure your are ordering the genuine battery. If you examine the photos of similarly named and yellow hued batteries closely, you will note differences that point to "no name" copies that may not be as good. Do a little web research before you order to make sure you get the genuine article. I ordered mine directly from Amazon vice one of their affiliated merchants for this reason.Customer Review: Did not work

Received this battery and charged it for 3 days just to be sure, did not come with any instructions at all. Appeared to be fully charged but when I tried to start Roomba, nothing. Did not work at all, would not even power on. Set it on the home base thinking maybe that had something to do with it and it started blinking orange like it was dead. Left it sit for several days, no change still blinks orange. Got a replacement from Amazon (very quickly by the way) But same story with the next battery. I have tried resetting my machine like the other reviews say but so far I have a dead roomba. Not sure why, I have not even used it that much.
