Customer Review: Another opinion after 1 week of use

I've had this battery for a week now and would like to revise my review. It works great! Even better then my original Roomba battery. I originally gave it 4 stars because although it arrived very quickly, it appeared to be used when it was listed as "Brand new." However, after 1 week of using the battery in my 500 series Roomba, the battery works terrific. I'm constantly expecting the Roomba to need a charge after 30 min or so but it just keeps on going and I could not be happier. So in fairness, I'm giving it a full 5 stars as the appearance of a battery is nowhere near as important as how well it works. For the price and for the results, I'd order another, thanks!Customer Review: iRobot battery

My iRobot (Roby) would only clean for a few minutes and then need recharging so I ordered a new iRobot R3 500 series APS battery. I had hesitated for quite awhile because I was leary of ordering a battery online. Who knew if it would actually fit or even improve performance if it did fit. I should not have hesitated, because once the battery came and was charged, Roby now performs as well as he did when he was new. The battery took about 5 days longer to arrive than the vendor said (I think because they sent it by USPS rather than UPS)but it fit and it works. Both Roby and I are happy and running at full speed.Customer Review: Worked great at first

I bought a lightly-used Roomba with a dying battery, but just couldn't stomach paying ~$[...] for a new battery from the manufacturer. The replacement battery (shipped from Allergy Be Gone) worked great, but five months later its ability to hold a charge has dropped significantly. I live in a 600 sq ft apartment and the battery will give out before it finishes its cleaning cycle. I've done the "deep charge" steps, which seems to help a little but not much. So now I'm looking to purchase another replacement, but if these things only last 5 to 6 months, I don't know whether they're such a good buy.Customer Review: It's a battery..

Not sure there's a lot to review here. It's a battery.
I did read that a few people thought they got bad units, but... it's a battery. That's gonna happen sometimes, the lifespan of a batter begins when it's made, not when you open the box.
At any rate, it worked beautifully and my Roomba is again cleaning the house :D
To the seller I would say that service was very good. I expected delivery in 6 days and I got the battery in 3. Half the time in shipping, that's service I usually only expect from NewEgg.
I'm very pleased.

If you're still using the battery that came with your Roomba, this one's better. Put simply, it lasts much, much longer than the stock battery, which lets the Roomba work longer, which means your floors are cleaner. I have a very large space - my kitchen, entryway, living room, and dining room are essentially one large space, over 25' by 35' with an additional 15' hallway and this battery lets the Roomba handle the whole thing just fine. If I bought another Roomba today, I'd be tempted to put its battery on the shelf as backup and order one of these right off.
