My Christmas present was a roomba, it really does a good job, it cleaned 4 rooms in my house then shut off. Its amazing to watch also, but you do need to check under your bed and floor before turning on but it does have an alarm if it sucks up a sock or gets hung on a rug. 2. Roddy (Roomba) is AWESOME.
Basically due to the ease of use you can run the little guy every day and over time, the room is definitley going to be lot cleaner than a single pass of extremely powerful Dyson.

you will know when this is running. i suggest you turn it on and leave the room, or better, leave the house and come back. you're not watching tv, reading, or listening to the yankee game when roomba's doing its thing.
other than that, seems to work fine and do a good job. picks up alot.

bought as a christmas present for my wife, it was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. she loves it,we have a labrador retriever,The Roomba has really made cleanup of the daily buildup of dirt and dog hair quick and simple. Works equally well on our carpet,hardwood floors,and tile.Customer Review: not a bad little machine

Got this as a Xmas gift from my son and his family. I had to move the kitchen chairs out of its way so it could get under the kitchen table.. Put up baby gates to keep it in the kitchen. It is not a bad machine.. Seems waste of eletricity to keep it pluged in when not in use..
