Tools and Hardware Reviews of iTouchless 42 Liter Automatic Stainless Steel Touchless Trash Can NXCustomer Review: It lasted a year... Summary: 1 Stars
This is the fourth can I have had through I touch, the avergae is 8 months and they die (in my house). The last can the motor will not open the lid. It is time to find another manufacturer, I am going to try the NEW Simple Human Trash Can with a Five (5 ) Year warranty!!! You may payt a little more, but it is cheaper in the long run, I have paid $300.00 in trash can over the past four (4) years through I-Touch..
Customer Review: Don't Waste Your Money Summary: 2 Stars
These sensor trashcans seem like such a steal because they look elegant and they seem quite affordable. However, they are designed to breakdown. Ideally, after your year warranty has expired. My 3rd touchless trashcan just recently broke down. They each lasted about 1.5 years. I think I'm just going to go the route of a step nice trashcan even though it's about $99. Hopefully that will at least last.
Customer Review: Defective design Summary: 1 Stars
The lid for the batteries is very weak, and positioned right over the garbage itself. The batteries and their plastic cover fell into the garbage, my wife took out the garbage... and that was the end. I tried taping new batteries into place, but they wouldn't hold. If the batteries are going to be in the current location, then their lid needs to be secured by a screw.
Customer Review: It broke after 2 months Summary: 2 Stars
I had liked the appearence of the trash can but was very disappointed to have it brake after on 2 months. It is difficult to open it now that it is broken. Also, the design of the top is such that a lot of food and stains accumulate around the rim because the cover does not hide them; doesnt cover the complete top of the trash can.
I wont buy this design again.
Customer Review: Great trashcan! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a perfect, hands-free, stylish-looking trashcan, and will match your stainless steel appliances in your kitchen! It holds a good amount, and though the trashcan is narrow, it is still large enough to fit those bulky to-go boxes from restaurants! It runs on battery or AC power, and a little FYI--it doesn't come with the AC adapter--if you want it, you gotta buy it!
