Customer Review: Only get this if you enjoy fighting your trashcan

We spent this exhorbitant amount of money for a trashcan because we thought it would be durable and better to ward off the family dog. It arrived in good condition, and the sensor works great, even though that opening noise can get to you after a day of it. The main gripe is that the trashcan ripped the bag apart whenever I had to take the bag out of it! It is designed with plastic parts that jut out towards the bag making EVERY time I changed the bag a wrestling match resulting in a ripped trashbag and a mess to clean. Absolutely the worst thing we have spent our money on for the house. Do NOT buy this trash can!!!!Customer Review: Overall good product but it has a catch

While I like the size and appearance and the overall concept it is difficult to remove trash bags once they are full. There is a rim where the trash bag holder sits so that the liner is not visible. When you have contents in the bag and try to remove it the bag catches on the rim and rips open the bag. This can be very messy. We now under fill the bag to avoid this problem. However, by under-filling it we did not move up in capacity from the trash can that we replaced. If anyone has a secret on how to work around this please share!Customer Review: Bad design rips bags

I had owned the other version of this, so this looked like a great variation. There is a rim inside that retains the ring holding the bag in. The problem is right beneath this rin, the mounting screws are exposed and impede rfemoval of a full bag, plus snag it and rip it on the way out. What a terrible design. Pass this one up, the pne where the lid flips up works just fine, so I am surprised they did not think this one though or test it.Customer Review: iTouchless Auto Hood Trashcan

Although it is only 1 month old in my house, the lid started to make some weird noise.
However, after spraying the lid with WD-40 solution, a couple of days later it stopped.
The lid makes a slight noise when it retracts during opening.
Other than the noise issue, I like it so far.

I love this itouchless can my favorite. I had the nx model 13 gallon version but the lid on that pops up to open and close and it broke 3 x in one year. I love this can the sx model as the lid slides. I got the black and love that too as the other model had the stainless which made me crazy with with fingerprints!
