Complete junk.
Lid gets stuck opening and closing. It's not "touchless" if you have to hit the buttons to force open/close.
Unit makes a ridiculous amount of noise when operating. It's LOUD.
Bags rip/tear when removing as they catch on the sharp edges of the can lid. You can try to cover the inner lid with duck tape but it's still a pain to get full bags out.
It's too big for normal sized trash bags. So you have to put something at the bottom of the can to fill the space (otherwise bags just fall down when they are heavy).
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

I owned 2 flip-up cans already and had high hope for this one. Unfortunately, all the reviews are correct. I cannot take the bag out of the can if it's filled. Forget about very filled bag as you will play tug of war with the trash can and have trash all over. It's real pretty and I can show it off to people and at the same time telling them that it's worthless. It's in the garage now after 1 week of use. I cannot take it anymore. The noise does not bother me much, but what do you do with a trash can that you cannot change the bag? My advice: Don't buy even with a 20.0 discount.Customer Review: Great idea but needs some work

I bought this trash can about 2 months ago. I love the way it looks, but it has some issues. First, the open/close mechanism is quite noisy. We ended up turning it off and just leaving the top open. But the most annoying problem this item has is the "lip" inside that catches on the bag as you try to take it out. Every bag gets ripped in spots. I find myself putting off emptying the can because I know it's going to be a hassle. So...although I think this item has some nice features, unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives. I give this product zero stars. Not only does the touchless sensor not work all the time. It almost never works. The cans design makes it VERY difficult to remove garbage in a trash bag. The bag gets hung up and tars when trying to remove. I ordered this product two weeks ago and it worked for a week before the lid just died out...contacted customer service and since i don't have the shipping receipt they won't do anything. I have the order invoice for the day i placed the order... and apparently they have no ability to find out who they ship merchandise out to...under a month ago, so what i'm left with is a trash can that's well....going in the trash. i suppose if you get one that works you're lucky...and if you don't...customer service isn't going to do anything about it....
