Customer Review: Touch Free Trash Can - Big Mistake

I purchased two of this trash can and am very disappointed. The bags always get caught when you try to take them out and they rip. The only way for this not to happen is if you take them out when the garbage bag is 1/4 of the way full and you have not put any odd shapes in the trash. That is just a waste because then you have a garbage bag that is not even full. I would not recommend buying this at all.Customer Review: This item is a piece of junk!

As other reviewers have stated, this can is noisy, and sounds like it is struggling to open. After a few weeks, the lid began to get stuck most of the time. The manufacturer's customer service is horrible. When I finally got a response, they wanted me to return the lid to them for repairs, and pay for shipping both ways. The older reviews are quite comprehensive and accurately describe this product.
However, the noisey mechanism should cannot be over stated. The vertically operating models are noiseless and very rapid. This mechanism operates more slowly and generates a loud grinding noise.
Otherwise, this is a sleek, attractive unit that fits well into most contemporary kitchen designs.

I found out the problem with this trash can about pulling out the bag when its full. I took the screws out that holds the 4 little things, that is in the way then set the frame top back on the top of the can. I don't have no more problems. This should help a lot of people that is going through the same problem.It worked for me and should work for you.Customer Review: dont buy unless you love frustration

I am so upset that I bought this horribly designed garbage can. Every time we take a full bag of garbage out it is torn open by the inner lip of the can. Whoever designed this is not very intelligent. We have to fight and struggle to get the full bag out each and every time and are about ready to throw this trash can away. Dont waste your money.
