My Mother told me never to touch myself when I'm alone and if you buy this garbage can you don't have to touch it either even if it begs you to touch it you don't have to and that's a good thing according to my Mother.
But please consider that even garbage cans need your love and someday you should own a garbage can you can touch.

This product looks very elegant operates well. Unfortunately, it failed in operation after two months due to a poorly designed gear mechanism. We attempted to purchase a new gear, but were told that our only recourse was a new top - at $45 plus shipping it seemed better to go back to the traditional trash can.Customer Review: efficient and pretty

Unfortunately, we fell for the attractive stainless steel design and the cool lid idea. We have not gotten one bag out without a tear. Will return this and agree that Amazon should discontinue offering it.
