When my heater died in my nutone 665rp in the middle of winter I new had to get it fixed quickly. I'm not that handy but I decided to take off the cover to see if I could get a feel for the job. Fortunately, the old unit came out with a single screw and by unplugging it from the outlet that is built into the fixture. This unit looks a little different from the original but it seemed to be the only replacement available from everywhere I checked. It went it as easy as the old one came out. Piece of cake. My only complaint is that it is not as warm as the original unit; maybe 80% as warm. But, it beats having nothing.
