Customer Review: Sturdy, classic kitchen trash can

I've had this trash can a little over a month. Very sturdy, nice appearance as far as garbage pails go. Really like the step on to open option...comes in very handy when your hands are full or greasy & you don't want to touch lid. It has stood up very well in my "high traffic" kitchen (6 member family). I think it is a very good deal, shipping was prompt, good size, & it was very easy to attach the lid. With that being said, i'm really impressed with the quality for the money. This company has their act together. We've only been using it for a month or so but as of now, there are no flaws or unexpected "happenings".
We're very satisfied! If you're looking for something in which to put your trash, this is it!

Arrived quickly and in good condition. All sticker lables were easy to remove. At first the lock mechanism did not work - lid was too far away from the base to lock. Then my 2 year old knocked the can down and now it works great. Perfectly holds a 10 gallon tall trash bag, lid automatically closes slowly, and it takes up little space. Fast shipping and great product. Was a bit of a pain trying to secure the lid on, was afraid I would break it, but you just have to push really hard. Other than that it works great, the lid closes slowly so it doesn't make a loud noise every time you throw something away. Looks very sleek and modern. The slow closing lid has saved me a few times now. I'll put something in the trash and then realized that something else needs to go quickly too and the slow closing lid keeps it from falling on my hands. The lock on the lid keeps our two-year-old out of the trash which is great because I am sure she would eat whatever she finds in there.
