Customer Review: EPIC FAIL

I bought this product b/c it looked nice and seemed well made. It is: no part has malfunctioned at all. Why one star? B/c the bottom of the Garbage can interior isn't flat. It has deep recesses on the side. Why? No clue. What is the result? Small sharp objects make their way into the bottom of the garbage bag, puncture it, then allow the garbage juice to seep into the recesses (Which are impossible to clean). Thanks Simple Human (Apparently VERY simple humans). As I write this I am In a 90 degree apt, inhaling the miasma of rotting chicken funk. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! I can't speak to the quality of their other products (Other cans have removable liners), but this is an EPIC FAIL.Customer Review: love the locking lid...except for one thing.

my husband bought this trashcan for our kitchen. we both love that it has a locking lid to keep out our very busy 2 year old. i love the fact that i dont have to touch the lid to open it up to throw out the yuck. the only complaint that i have is with the hindges. because they are made of plastic they tend to wear out quickly. so when i step on the peddle now, the lid pops off of the hinges and doesnt move, so i end up having to use my hands to lift the lid and then have to re-attach said top. arg! next time were going to spend the money on a completely metal can. one that has super duper hinges. overall great can. however the hinges suck! =-)Customer Review: Good But Flawed

Arrived cracked but the crack doesn't affect the functioning of the bin. The roller wheels which move it around fall off without much effort.
That said, once you have it immobilized its a great product. The foot pedal feels solid and the lid gently closes instead of slamming shut like on other models. It has enough weight that it won't slide around on the floor when you step on the pedal. Looks nice, standard bags are a tight fit so overfilling doesn't cause the bags to fall into the bin which is nice.
Overall, aside from a couple of minor glitches, I'm happy I got this instead of a $100 chrome can.
Customer Review: Critter Resistant Deck Trashcan

I was so happy to see this design. I needed something on our deck to use for gardening detritus such as my deadheaded flowers. I also wanted something that did stick out and announce "Hi, I am your local trashcan." This one is simple, fits into a modest space and does not stick out. The tipping point for me was that there was a locking mechanism on it. I know it won't keep determined critters out but it will give them a moments pause. It is petty well bunny and skunk proof. I am not so sure about deer and we don't have any bears but overall it should help busy animals from looking for an easy mark.Customer Review: Great Trash Can

Was looking for a black trash can, that was functional and nice. This was perfect. The slim design actually makes the opening bigger compared to our previous round metal can. The slow lid closing is nice. The wheels kinda make it move back towards the wall a little every time you use it, which will eventually put a mark on your wall when it touches the wall...but a minor complaint. Found some black kitchen trash bags at the store and it looks 100x better without the white bag hanging out from under the lid. Easy to use, easy to empty, looks good, and seems built to last.
