This trash can is great! I love the locking lid to keep out prying toddler hands. The step mechanism for opening the lid is stong and works very well. The lid seals tight to keep in odors and standard kitchen bags fit it well. Needed a lided can for both garbage and recycle and wanted in black. This is perfect. very very happy. Ordering some bags to see if they are indeed better than Glad Forceflex.. exactly what I was looking for at just the right price! It's fairly easy to assemble, though getting the top to "snap" into place was a bit of a challenge. It works great though and is a great size to stick at the end of a counter or hide somewhere.Customer Review: putting the lid on is tough

pros: the lid closes softly. I like the wheels.
cons: Putting the lid on is a real chore. I had to bring a friend over,(A large burley man) to snap the lid in place. I could'nt do it even with a hammer. Once it is together it works fine.
