I've had this unit for nearly 6 years and it still looks and works like new. Without a lid I was concerned about odors in an enclosed space, but I spray the trash can with Lysol with every bag change, and if any seepage accumulates on the bottom I wipe the can clean. I've never had any odors, and I prefer NOT having a lid, for easy access while I'm cooking/cutting/chopping. This is an extremely well built design compared to any other I've seen, and I'm buying another for my daughter's kitchen remodel......she's always liked mine!Customer Review: Awesome product

This Under counter trash Container works so well. It is much sturdier than I expected. And the trash bin itself is much larger than I thought. I wAs afraid it would be so small that it needed to be changed daily. It is regular kitchen trash bag sized. The sliding mechanism is smooth and the best part is it has a handle to pull it out. Even if u didn't buy this particular one definitely look for some type of handle.
The only thing more I could ask for is a lid, which I guess would be a pain to have to somehow open each time.

I didn't know what I was missing until I installed one of these handy trash cans under my sink. I had been walking across the kitchen leaving a trail of drips and splatters on the floor! This product takes care of that problem, saves some time, and installed easily and securely. It is sturdy and feels like it will hold up over time and functions like a built-in part of the cabinets. I'd like to see a way of attaching the trash can so it pulls out when you open the cabinet door to make life even easier. A good value for sure.Customer Review: An awesome trash can!

This thing is perfect! It looks great (at least in our black/red and stainless steel kitchen) and works great! Very smooth rollers, perfect size can - trash bags fit snug around the perimeter and we were lucky that the dimensions of our under-sink space were just right. Make sure you measure the space well first. We have a garbage disposal under the sink and the trash can fit just right next to it. 1/2 of an inch would've made it impossible to fit this thing in there. Construction is solid and sturdy. This is a great trash can, definitely worth the price. I had a cheap slide-out bin with a wire frame, no solid trash can, and the bag was constantly tearing when it was time to empty the trash. Just a bit aggravating. Having the plastic trash bin inside the frame solves that problem... The slides are also heavy duty and extend fully and it can tolerate quite a bit of weight. Easy to install and looks great with our black appliances and the chrome frame is a nice modern look. I was showing it off the first week!
