I was looking for a space saving trash can to install under the kitchen sink. This trash can is super easy to install. Only 8 screws. It takes standard 13 gallon sized kitchen trash bags. The design is sturdy like other Simple Human products I have purchased. There are less expensive brands available, but they are not as well built. Our last one had cheap rollers and framing that bent over time and became harder and harder to use. I can easily imagine this lasting for many, many years.

I love the benefit of having the trash under the counter and out of the way, but I have noticed that the frame should be more durable. Mine has already jumped out of the track and had to be adjusted. Now we are just really careful not to put any pressure on the can when we pack down the trash.Customer Review: Great option for kitchen trash

I had a regular kitchen waste basket on the floor, but my dogs kept getting in to it. Also, it would smell if we didn't take the trash out often enough. This under the counter trash can works perfectly! It was easy to install and keeps the trash out of sight. And the dogs can't get to it!
