I've had my Grocery Bag Holder for about a year now and still am amazed at the number of bags that fit into this top and side loading container. The ease of bag removal for various purposes make this holder even more effective in keeping the bags handy, tidy, and useful. I strongly recommend this Grocery Bag Holder to go with kitchens that are in trend with chrome appliances - blends in. Other bag holders that I have used in the past did the job, but when you want an appealing-looking compact product, this is the holder for you. Plus as I feel the bags should be reused rather than tossed and gathering in landfills - this product aids in helping me do this "green" effort.Customer Review: Love this plastic bag holder

I had to have this after seeing all of the great reviews on it and I'm so happy I ordered it. I mounted mine inside my pantry door to combat my previous way of storing them, which was crammed in the bottom of the pantry...not so tidy. So, I used a level to get it straight on the door and marked the 2 places to drill the screws, drilled in the screws, hung the dispenser on them, and I was done. It was really that simple. It looks sleek and functions well. I did as another reviewer suggested and wrapped each bag around my hand one at a time before putting it in the top, so that I would only get one bag out when I needed it. Looks good, holds a good amount of bags and gives you options on where to put it - comes with some screws and the adhesive tape on the back of it. I wanted to put it up with the tape, but didn't since I am renting an apartment. If you had it underneath a shelf, then that could make for some pretty awkward positions when stuffing bags into it! When I started putting bags in I was quickly reminded how the super sturdy, hard construction of it isn't very fogiving... once it starts to fill up, I really have to puuuusssshhh the bags in. Wondering if I should keep it or get something like a canvas bag that is more flexible and that I can fit more stuff into.Customer Review: Breakdown Review

Usage: The bags can get jammed, but that's usually a sign that you have too many stuffed in.
Capacity: The item is a bit small; it only holds about 15-20 bags. However, I can't think of any reason I'd want to hang on to more than that!
Mounting: I opted to use screws to attach this device based on other reviews that the sticky tape did not hold. This has worked fine for me.
Overview: Don't expect too much from this holder. Use it as nothing more than a stylish, simple, small capacity storage/dispenser for plastic bags and you won't be disappointed.

I have had this simplehuman grocery bag holder for over a month now. It discernibly serves the purpose for which it was devised. Like the product description reads, it has the capacity to hold a maximum of 30 average size grocery bags and helps avoid clutter in an elegant way. It is not the strongest of materials but there are no concerns at all with respect to its sturdiness in holding the bags.
I mounted it inside a kitchen shelf and happen to find it easy to pull one bag out at a time as and when necessary. On occasion two may come out at a time but this should not happen if the bags are not tangled when you put them in the first place!
