Customer Review: DO NOT BUY!!

Just received this scale...took it out of the box, put the batteries in... and it didn't work at all. We even tried replacing the cheap batteries it came with with our own batteries, and it never did work. I'm working on getting a refund now. It's obviously pretty cheaply made and is one of those made-in-China things where the language on the box isn't even quite correct English. I wouldn't recommend it, although looks like I might have just gotten a lemon because it gets so many other good reviews. EDITING several weeks later to add-- it took weeks to "process" my refund. The seller wanted me to send photos of the battery position and was trying to convince me that I was just putting the batteries in wrong. He wouldn't process my refund until I finally threatened to file a claim with Amazon. After leaving negative feedback, he is now OFFERING TO BRIBE ME $20 TO RETRACT THIS NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. So wrong. DO NOT buy this product, or from this seller!!
